The Riggin'
The Riggin' take their name from 'The Riggin' o' Fife' which are the hills running through Fife from North to South. Neil and Karen Play Scottish folk and Traditional music.  They can also blend in some Irish music as well as some from further afield.  

Karen is an excellent young fiddle player from Balmullo, in Fife.  She has played at festivals throughout the world, including the famous Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.   Karen has also appeared on television in a recent Burns Night special along with Sheena Wellington and The Young Fife Roadshow.
Karen is also one quarter of 'The Midden', a 4 piece group who recently released a CD which received favourable reviews in the press.

Neil comes from Milnathort, Kinross Shire (not in Fife but Still within view of the Lomond Hills).  He plays Highland Bagpipes, Smallpipes, Border pipes, Whistles, Guitar and sings.  He has played live on Radio Scotland's 'Travelling Folk' and 'Take the Floor' programmes.  He has also played on recordings by Gaberlunzie, Tich Frier, John Watt, Sheena Wellington and The Lomond ceilidh band amongst others.  Neil is also a member of the Orwell Ceilidh Band.
