The Webly Nemesis is a replica gun that looks like a standard (real) pistol such
as a desert eagle .45 or maybe a berreta 9mm. The Webly Nemesis pistol in .177
form is a powerful little gun. It is 5-6 lb ft and powers home the little .177's
with quite a sharp little crack.
It has a solid all metal feel, unlike some plasticy pistols that seem more like
toys - It has fully adjustable sights and you can even adjust the trigger pressure so
it goes off easier. I know 3 people who have used it for paper punching in competitions.
It is very accurate and shoots accurate further than my Roehm .177, probably because
it has twice the power. At shorter range the Roehm has it, but the Webly Nemesis
is only £90-00 and not £300-00.
The barrel flips up and you place a pellet, you shut it again it and its ready
to go. Very simple very quick.
It is a single sweep pnuematic and pumps just once as you close the top piece.
Being a pnuematic and not a springer it has no recoil and this along with other nice
things make it suitable for a first target shooter.
If you wanted it to shoot rats it would be quite suitable. You would only need
one movement before shooting. It is not a pump up.
A little shot gun hammer type lever is pressed down releasing the barrel top
part where you place a pellet, then the barrel is extended fully and replaced charging
the pnuematics, ready for the next shot. The top barrel clicks home and you're ready.
Its light and recoiless, accurate and cheap. You could spend an afternoon plinking
tin cans quite happily without much expense. You can get the black Webly Nemesis
or the black and chrome in .177 and there is a .22 as well. The nemesis rewards
with consistent powerful shots, and is a cracking little gun:
Webly Nemesis, Single sweep pnuematic, a good first pistol.
