Who is Karl Brazil ?

Karl is currently considered to be one of the country's top drummers. At the moment, he works mostly with Darius and newcomer James Blunt, but has also recently worked with Fame Academy's Sinéad Quinn, Lulu, Shania Twain and Lionel Ritchie. Prior to his work with Darius, he appeared with stars such as Will Young, Bitty McClean, Solid Harmonie and Sonique.

He is a Brummie, born 27.5.78, (which makes him a Gemini) and, according to his official website is "a sports junkie" He considers himself to be quite fit and plays football for a local side. He's also a supporter of Birmingham City. However, being a musician, he does also enjoy a beer or two with his mates!

Hear Karl Playing!
Karl performed alongside other musicians at an event at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College on 9.10.03. The "gig" was aimed primarily at other musicians and the pieces played were described as "technical"
