September gigs
"Droplets of dreams that you touch disappear"
September 2004
Down Royal Races, Belfast 12th Sept.

Darius performed a 30 minute set at the race course to mark their first ever Sunday race meet.  He was supported by girl band "The 411", and later delighted the crowd by staying to sign autographs by the backstage area.
Fauldhouse Miner's Welfare, Edinburgh 23rd Sept.

An unusual gig for Darius, but certainly a night to remember!  - Performing for a sell out audience of just 300 as the guest of Bathgate Amateur Operatic Society!

The gig was organised in association with BBC Radio Scotland, for their programme "Lets do the show right here" where they help amateur singing groups organise concerts to raise money for their funds ... and they bring along a famous celeb to help boost sales!

Darius performed an acoustic set, beginning with "Colourblind", then doing a cover of Prince's "Kiss" before performing a very moving version of "Live Twice", telling the audience that the song was written after discovering his father had cancer.

He took a break to answer questions from the audience, being very open about how he has coped with his father's illness and how it inspired him to write songs again.

For the second half, he opened with a cover of George Michael's "Faith" and then did the first public performance of a new song from the album - "The Devil in You", a number based on the jazz swing style.  He finished with the new single "Kinda Love"

The evening was brought to an even better ending with him coming out to do a "Meet and Greet"
