SYNOPSIS
The amateur sleuth, Lord Peter Wimsey (Robert Montgomery) and his bride, Harriet Vane (Constance Cummings) arrive at a little village in Devon for their honeymoon. Surprised at not being met by Mr Noakes (Roy Emerton) their surprise soon turns into something more serious as they find his body. They have plenty of suspects and they begin to eliminate them from their enquiries. So who conceived and carried out Noakes’ death?
