SYNOPSIS
An assortment of passengers board the Rome Express departing from Paris, including: Police Inspector Jolif (Frank Vosper), golf bore Tom Bishop (Gordon Harker), American film star Asta Marvelle (Esther Ralston) and her publicity-minded Manager, Sam (Finlay Currie), pompous millionaire Alistair McBane (Cedric Hardwicke) and his bullied secretary Mills (Eliot Makeham), George Grant (Harold Huth) and his companion Mrs Maxstead (Joan Barry), the twitchy Mr Poole (Donald Calthrop) and, at the last moment, gangsters Zurta (Conrad Veidt) and Tony (Hugh Williams).
